Technical Specifications

  • A flight range of 6 hours and 30 minutes
  • A cruising speed of 495 statute miles per hour
  • M&N’s Hawkers are capable of pressurized flight at 41,000 feet and an en-route speed of 485 mph or Mach .76, to a range of 2750 and 3400 statute miles respectively.
  • The aircraft appraise for over 10 million and 14 million respectively including optional state of the art equipment as follows:
  • Honeywell TFE 731-5BR engines capable of generating 4660 pounds of thrust per side under a constant trend-monitoring program audited outside of M&N Aviation.
  • Collins Pro-line 21 Integrated Flight Instrumentation Display, which enables electronic storage of airport and instrument approach database information.  This state of the art avionics package greatly enhances pilot situational awareness and reduces workload in the cockpit contributing to the safety of the operation.
  • Traffic alert and Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS-II) integrated into the avionics.  The system makes it virtually impossible for the ship to have a conflict with other traffic by searching for the electronic signature of other nearby aircraft and alerting the pilots when a potential hazard exists.  TCAS-II provides aural instructions to the pilots for the proper escape maneuver in the event of a near miss.
  • Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS), which alerts the crew to any error maintaining proper separation from terrain while en-route or in the approach and landing phases of flight.
  • Dual Collins Flight Management Systems which combine GPS technology with ground based navigational signals for pinpoint accuracy in navigation.
  • Executive interior with a divan with room for 9 passengers.  The cabin includes all the amenities including CD and DVD player on two screens with the Air-show option, satellite phone, and data-link capability.

All M&N pilots undergo extensive recurrent training considered best practices in the industry.  All Challenger and Hawker pilots undergo training and checking every 6 months at Flight Safety International using a Level D, full motion simulator under full service training agreements.
