Pilatus PC-12

M & N Aviation also provides the Rocky Mountain Region with state-of-the-art PC-12 commuter planes - spacious enough for eight travelers. The PC-12 is fully equipped to reach regional destinations in comfort and style.

M&N Aviation operates the following:
(1) 2003 Pilatus PC-12/45
(1) 2005 Pilatus PC-12/47

Amenities of the PC-12 include:

  • Room to fly up to 8 Passengers
  • A spacious cabin with 16’ 11” of comfort
  • A private lavatory
  • A cabin server can be provided upon request

Technical Specifications:

  • A flight range of 3 hours and 30 minutes with 8 passengers, 7 hours with 3 passengers
  • 40 cubic feet for storing baggage
  • Both are capable of pressurized flight at 28,000 feet and an en-route speed of 300 statute mph, for 2200 miles.
  • Both aircraft appraise for over 3.5 million including optional state of the art equipment as listed below:
  • The safety of the operation is supplemented with an Enhanced Visibility System, which uses Infra Red technology to display video information to the pilots at night and in the event of an emergency and in poor visibility.
  • Both PC-12 aircraft have Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS 1) integrated into the avionics.  This system substantially reduces the likelihood of a conflict with other traffic by searching for the electronic signature of other aircraft in the vicinity and alerting the pilots when a potential hazard exists.
  • Both PC-12 have an Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS), which would alert the crew to an error in maintaining proper separation from any terrain while en-route or in the approach and landing phases of flight.
  • Both aircraft are served by dual Garmin GPS (global positioning system) for pinpoint accuracy in navigation;
  • The upgraded avionics include Innovative Solutions and Support’s Integrated Flight Instrumentation Display, which enables electronic storage of airport and instrument approach database information.  This state of the art avionics package greatly enhances pilot situational awareness and reduces workload in the cockpit contributing to the safety of the operation.
  • Both aircraft have an executive interior and XM radio for 8 passenger seats, Satellite Communication Phone for air to air or air to ground communications and 110 volt Power Outlets in the cabin;
  • The engine is a Pratt and Whitney PT-6 generating 1200 horsepower and de-rated for engine longevity to 1200 HP.  The engines are also under a constant trend-monitoring program audited outside of M&N Aviation.

Although the PC-12 is certified for one pilot, all M&N flights are dispatched with two pilots.  The insurance industry has proven the additional safety component of having two highly qualified pilots in the cockpit.  M&N pilots undergo extensive recurrent training in house under our approved FAR Part135 training program.  In addition, all PC-12 pilots receive training annually at SimCom in Phoenix at the only approved full screen PC-12 simulator in the country.
